Setting up TCP/IP in control panel

1. Double click on MY COMPUTER

2. Double click on CONTROL PANEL

3. Double click on NETWORK

4. Scroll thru the components and highlight TCP/IP (if not there click ADD) then cliock PROPERTIES

ADDING TCP/IP

• Select Protocol and Add
• In the list of manufactures, highlight Microsoft
• Under protocol select TCP/IP
• Click OK

5. Click on the WINS CONFIGURATION tab and make sure USE DHCP has a dot in it

6. Now click on DNS CONFIGURATION tab

this should be disabled

7. Click OK then OK again, restart the computer and your finished
